The couple loved the idea of an Italian wedding, and were introduced to the stylish, rustic charms of Puglia by Madama.
After initial meetings with Elisabetta in London, and having fallen for Madama’s Masseria Ulivi from its featured page on our website, the couple visited Puglia with the team, and quickly confirmed both Puglia, and our Masseria Ulivi, as the venue they’d dreamed of for their classy vintage wedding.
Ulivi was perfect, not just because of its effortless mix of rustic Mediterranean charm and manicured modern style, but because the couple loved the idea of it as not just wedding venue, but as a place the whole wedding party could stay for three nights, enjoying the venue’s first-class amenities, food and service. And the private swimming pool, in Puglia’s late-summer warmth, was a big hit too!
With the perfect location secured, the Madama team worked with the couple and our family of trusted suppliers to ensure every detail of the day was perfect. We went shopping with the bride in London on a hunt for the perfect dress, and worked with one of the best patisseries in Puglia to design the bride’s dream cake, based on designs she had picked out.
We even rustled up a vintage Vespa scooter – what could be more Italian? – at the bride’s request, which added a unique splash of character, class and fun to the day!
